HEALTHY PAWS
Paw hair
Fixing the grinch feet. The hair under the paw and between the toes tends to grow too long. Too long hair makes it harder for the paw to grip the ground and the dirt and snow from outside collects in there. At the same time it can not be cut too short because the hair protects the paw from the cold and the heat.

I personally cut the hair to be at the same level as the paw pads and toes. In that way it is not too long but still protects the paws.

If you want to cut that hair find scissors that have sharp blades but tips are rounded. So you can cut the hair quickly but if the dog moves, the tips can not hurt the paw.
Healthy paw pads
Sometimes the paws can get dry and cracked. There are a lot of different creams in the shops to choose from. If living in the city or going on long hikes especially in the winter, it is helpful to use paw wax or shoes. Paw wax protects paws from cracking or the salt on city streets to hurt the paws. Another great way to protect the paws is to wear shoes. Shoes have to fit the paws correctly and dog has to be teach they are okay to wear.
Nails
Nails have to be just the right length. Not too long, not too short. Too short nail means the dog gets no grip from them. Too long nails touch ground when the dog is standing and put pressure on the paw. If the dog is standing and the nails are not touching the ground then they are not too. There has been a myth that nails clicking on the floor mean they are too long. That is actually wrong as for some dogs nails will click even if too short.
